My Pencil Case, loaded for a new semester!

Based on this post on school supplies, here’s what I packed into my pencil case for this upcoming semester:

Pencils, 2 mechanical ones along with extra lead (0.5, 2B) and an eraser. I initially wanted to pack a ‘traditional’ pencil as well but figured it was too much of a hassle.

Pens, in blue, black and red, as well as an extra blue gel pen that I love.

Correction pen, as well as a small cute correction tape.

Highlighters, in purple cause it’s my colour coding system for my college works, and in fluorescent yellow cause traditional is always best.

Whiteboard Marker, in black cause it always comes in handy and black is the best to read on the board.

Ruler, self explanatory.

A pack of coloured pencils, cause I like to decorate my notes.

A mini stapler with extra staples and some paper clips, because they come in handy too.

I also put my student ID as well as library card in the case along with some spare cash just in case, and I have a marking flag post-it keychain hanged to the pencil case.

I’m pretty sure I’ve got my stationery grounds covered

So I spent countless (actually I didn’t really count) hours looking for the perfect way to organize (organize??) my social networking accounts (that includes my e-mails, instant messaging clients, as well as stuff like twitter, etc.) and to actually have fun doing it (that’s all I really want it to be. FUN!). And after testing quite a few stuff, here’s my decision on which works best, for me

Google Chrome almighty. Although I’m tweaking my Firefox which I’ve been abandoning to make it a little more eye-friendly since I’m kinda interested in a few add-ons.

Digsby for IM and webmails cause it supports multiple accounts and keeps it all easily managed and thus oh-so-pretty.

Tweetdeck for twittering, and reading facebook status messages. If only it could reply to facebook status messages like Seesmic. Why not use Seesmic, instead? Cause I like Tweetdeck’s interface way, way, better.

Ping.fm, the ultimate social networking update web, although with the risk of making people angry at reading the same thing in several different accounts. But I try variety once in a while, and that’s why ping is still awesome.

and more to come as I dig deeper and deeper into the web. LOL.

I’m posting this from http://ping.fm and I have to say I kinda like how it works. Although it doesn’t make sense much since I only ping this to Blogs, and I only set WordPress on blog. Duh. Plus, it will make all my entries Uncategorized and Untagged.

But hey, categories and tags make me confused anyway. Ping seems to give me just what I want. Ability to blurt out something when I feel like it, all by having just one window open. It also saves me the agony of thinking ‘now what do I need to update next?’ although of course I could’ve saved myself the trouble by NOT having so many social networking accounts. LOL.

I can’t help it though, I’m drawn to buttons saying sign up

Responsibility Means Doing Something Correctly!!

So this Sunday I will have to lead the Sunday School teacher preparation class for next week (oh, isn’t it ‘wonderful’ being a theology student?? LOL. Naah, I actually really enjoy it. I think it fits me well.), and I spent the weekend, until yesterday, preparing notes about Mordekhai and Esther. THEN, this morning a fellow Sunday School teacher who coordinates the preparation class messaged me to remind me about my task, mentioning what I should be explaining about, AND…

Of course, I had wasted my long weekend preparing for an altogether wrong lesson plan. Duh.

Anyways… I just spent a few hours working on the correct one, and I’m kinda happy on how it turned out. Let’s just hope I don’t mess up anymore on Sunday. Godspeed.

I’m Getting Over You

Or at least trying very hard to. It’s all so confusing that I’m totally lost. I can hardly remember the days we were together, and that’s a bad sign, or well, a good sign if my goal is to really forget you. Sigh. I have no idea why I’m writing this. Am totally, completely ruined right now.

Paper Toy of The Day #001

Paper Toy of The Day #001 – MiniMimmo! (download template here).

It’s actually a worldwide project of picturing Minimimmo all over the world. I’m thinking of taking him somewhere more iconic to send to the website though.

He was so freakishly hard to build (okay, I’m exaggerating a bit), mainly because he’s glueless and oddly shaped. I still wonder if I totally messed up his ears (or whatever those lil squares behind his head is supposed to be) cause everyone else in the gallery seems to have it in green (which is the opposite site). Although the illustration looks like it’s white (like mine). Oh well.

Oh, and a little bit about Paper Toy of The Day (PTTD for short), since I’ve gotten a bit paper toy crazy these last few days, I decided to limit myself to one paper toy a day, and post it here, of course
